All mobile signal antennas—whether used indoors or outdoors—are passive components. This means they cannot boost, strengthen, or improve mobile signal on their own. An antenna does not create or amplify mobile coverage by itself; it can only receive or distribute signal. For true improvement, every antenna must be connected to an active device such as a mobile signal booster, repeater, or amplifier. These active units supply the gain, processing, and regulated output required to lift weak radio signals and distribute them safely and effectively throughout a home, building, or commercial space.

Please note: Using a cable longer than the one included in your booster kit may reduce system performance. Long cables increase signal loss (attenuation), which can weaken the booster’s output power and result in poorer mobile signal improvement.
